“After the rain, the sun will reappear.
There is life. After the pain, the joy will still be here.”
I believe there are only two seasons of life – rainy days and sunny days. During the rainy times of our life we shed tears; we experience the storms and heartaches that we thought we cannot get over with. Some people are quite resilient to every pounding of rainstorms and some easily surrender and is blown away completely. It is easy to say to others in suffering to stay strong but it is actually never simple to do it. Lucky are those who effortlessly get their feet back after being whisked.
When I am in struggle, I consider it a rainy season of my life. I convince myself that rain won’t stay forever; that it won’t be long I can only feel the mist with sun rays on my face and a rainbow in the sky – hope. When it happens, the joy felt will be more than the agony endured. After the rainy days there is fresh expectation and it’s better than after the sunny days where there is fear of the dark unknown.
